1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Maticko, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Tickets & bookings

All tickets purchased through Maticko are subject to availability and the terms set by the event organiser. A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and a ticket reference has been issued.

3. Payments

Payments are processed securely via M-Pesa and supported card gateways. Prices are shown in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and may include service fees and taxes displayed at checkout before you pay.

4. Refunds & cancellations

Refund eligibility depends on the individual event organiser's policy. Where refunds are permitted, they are processed to your original payment method. Maticko is not liable for events that are cancelled, postponed or altered by organisers.

5. Entry & check-in

Each ticket carries a unique QR code that is scanned once at the gate. Duplicated, transferred or fraudulent tickets may be refused entry. You are responsible for keeping your ticket secure.

6. Organisers

Organisers are responsible for the accuracy of event listings, the delivery of the event, and compliance with applicable Kenyan law, including the Data Protection Act, 2019. Payouts are made in line with the agreed schedule net of platform fees.

7. Liability

Maticko provides a ticketing platform and is not the organiser of listed events. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the ticket purchased.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Maticko after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
